I get a kick out of the news last month stating that the east coast was in a heat wave. Temperatures in the New York area soared to a whopping 96….cute. 7 weeks ago in California, we hit 110 and no one blinked an eye, it’s the norm here, and a given. Now we burn under intense heat and smoke, while the fires rage all around us.
The state is going to some extreme measure to try to curb this, including the ‘governator’ asking citizens to please refrain from using fireworks (which are legally sold here) this year, for they will start fires as well. Add to this a water supply problem, and we have a formula for disaster…
Its like there is constant smog, fires are burning all over the state…. surreal….and terrible to breath!
