  I get a real kick out of the fact that Bill Clinton was facing impeachment for lying to the American people. He didn’t, he was well advised and said he did not have sexual intercourse with that woman, and that was true. Problem is, every housewife in the US took offense. The truth is, the economy was booming and the future looked bright, his was a decade of great building and growth. He left Bush with a huge surplus and Bush leaves us with the nations greatest debt and 2 wars we are losing. Bill’s greatest offense was picking such a cow…

  Bush has lied over 900 times and it has been documented, printed and NOT disputed by the White House, and the American people have done nothing, absolutely nothing. If Bush had lied about something sexual, then Americans would have been all over it! Says a good deal about the American mentality…

  I’m thankful for folks like Scott McClellan, and yes, may he make millions off his book. Now Bush attacks him, and sends in the dogs to try to discredit. Bush cannot discredit anyone, anyone other than himself. Having lied over 900 times about the build up to war, the human rights violations, the CIA affair and subsequent pardons, Katerina, the state of the economy, the list goes on……and the American people did nothing. We will have only ourselves to blame, for the future looks bleak and possibly even worse.

  

  Bush is a book of the month at best, and may he sell as few as possible. The damage he has done will take decades to fix, if it can be….

  So, it is convenient to now reverse course and agree with Alaska drilling Bush? Anything to try to salvage your reputation, even at the expense of the nation…get out!

  Now Americans are starting to bitch, for gas is close to 5 dollars a gallon. Not until it affects us personally I guess….what a shame.

  Read an interesting article today on the correlation between fitness and education.

  

  No, not the above, but this one stating that education pays in more ways than one. Funny thing about it was this, ” For a wellness-seeking society, this is a correlation worth paying attention to”. We are a wellness seeking society?My God, its no secret that we are the fattest nation in the world, and that within the next 3 years, 75% of Americans will be overweight, with 30% obese, and 5% morbidly obese. But the author called us a wellness seeking society….ye, whatever.

  While there may be a higher level of fitness in those with advanced educations, I attribute going to the gym more with things like proximity and diet. There are those of us that just like to eat healthy, and if you’ve ever joined a gym that is far away, you know how difficult it can be to motivate to get there, especially with gas around 4.40 a gallon!

  

  Don’t kid yourself when it comes to the gym, there is real fitness and then there are the jokers. We have a guy at my gym that refers to himself as ‘Fatman’. Clocking in around 480, this man is morbidly obese and his life in danger, but Fatman has the respect of all that attend, you know why? He goes everyday…that demands respect. Granted, he can only walk at 2 mph on the treadmill, but he gets the encouragement he needs to return the next day, and everyone is hoping he will succeed.

  “I believe that educated people understand the value of a healthy lifestyle because we realize that this is a crucial factor in developing overall happiness and well-being. Being healthy is just as important as landing that high-paying job. You can’t work as well if you are not healthy.”
  

  My mom used to say, “if you have your health, you have everything” meaning that not much else counts. Rich or poor, black or white, earthling or Martian, health can bring you great happiness and energy in life.
